The Psquare brothers, Rudeboy and Peter Okoye (Mr P) are getting ready to drop their first album as a group. Peter Okoye made this known via his verified Twitter handle, where he said that it was a game plan not to release a new album after their reunion because they wanted to tour around the world for a year with their old classic hit songs.
He explained that the plan was to play their classic hits to revive memories of them, and it did work out as they cashed and sold out.
It would be recalled that the Psquare brothers split up before and it was reported that their elder brother, Jude Okoye was responsible for the rift because he was their manager and made decisions for both of them.
It would also be important to know that P-Square has established itself as one of the most well-known musical groups in Africa, with its songs bringing them a sizable global fan base.
The multi-award-winning partnership was put to an end when the twin brothers went their separate ways to pursue individual careers.
When the brothers reunited and announced their reunion as a pair, they expressed regret to their fans for their previous breakup at a concert.
Additionally, they gave performances abroad, appearing as special guests at Afronation events in Ghana and Portugal. They brought back memories.
The team, whose music represents many periods in the development of Afrobeats, will be eagerly anticipated by fans for a new release.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle to make the announcement, Peter Okoye wrote, “CONFESSION! Yes, it was a game plan not to release any New album after the reunion! Cos we wanted to tour around the world for a year with our old classic hit songs! And trust @psquare we Cashed& Sold Out! And now we are including a Brand New Album. Igbo Sense”.
P-Square is a Nigerian music duo consisting of the twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye.[2] They produced and released their albums through Square Records.
