Phyna, the winner of the Level Up edition of Big Brother Naija and the second female winner of the BBNaija show, has said that some people claimed that she was too local to win the show.
The reality TV Star made this known during her Instagram live session, where she spoke about the perception people have about her.
Phyna stated that some people are of the opinion that she didn’t deserve to win the seventh edition of the reality show, tagging her as a local girl.
Phyna also disclosed that her followers has increased from 15,000 to over a million followers after trying for four years to be on the show. She asked those who think she doesn’t deserve to win the show to go tell God.
While speaking during the Instagram live session, Phynà said: “I went into the Big Brother house with just 15,0000 followers on Instagram. And now, I have one million followers. Some people said I was local and did not deserve to win the BBNaija show. (They) should go and tell God that I did not deserve to win the show”.
“I am on my own. I just prayed to God, and He helped me after four years (of trying to be on the show). I got into the house and was myself. I won and was given the prize money, yet some people are complaining”.
“My skit with Broda Shaggi has a lot of views. Even if Broda Shaggi does not write a script, I will write one.”
Phyna was a strong competitor all through the season in House tasks, wager and Head of House Games which made her a strong contender for the grand prize. The Edo state-born hype woman was known for her amazing skills such as dancing, singing hype, and most importantly her positive outlook on everything.
Throughout her time in the house, Phyna exuded an aura that was positive and predominantly vivacious which made her aura infectious to not only her fans but other contestants. From the commencement of the show, she unraveled herself as a winner and a noteworthy character in the competition.
