‘Peter` Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, promises to safeguard and reconstruct Nigeria if he is elected to lead the nation in 2023.
He made the promise on Wednesday during a party gathering for the president in Calabar, the state capital of Cross River.
At the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Obi was welcomed by a sizable crowd of fans. He added, “We will secure Nigeria as one united entity. Nigeria would be protected as a federating unit.
He continued, “We will ensure the rule of law,” and transform Nigeria from a nation of consumers to one of producers.
‘Peter` Obi also promised to assist Cross River State to develop its tourism, adding, “We will make tourism work in the state.”
He urged the supporters not to vote for people they did not trust.
Also speaking, the National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure, urged the supporters to make the right choice in 2023, adding that, “That choice is Peter Obi.”
When inviting the presidential candidate to the state, Ogar Osim, the party’s state chairman, promised that the state will support Obi.
With Peter Obi, an LP chieftain declared, “A new Nigeria is achievable,” adding, “It begins with you.” While Aisha Yusuf, a social media influencer, predicted that the 2023 election would be a struggle for survival. By casting a vote for Peter Obi, we shall demonstrate with our PVCs.
According to John Ushie, a national officer of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Peter Obi was supported by organized labor.
Nigeria will be saved by Peter Obi. He explained that he would be the president of production, not consumption, and that a door-to-door campaign should be run to assure his success.
