Tonto Dikeh’, a well-known Nollywood actress and mother of one, responded on social media after being dragged by her ex-husband’s cousin.
In her words, “You are fighting a man you tagged broke because he bought a house worth 220 million for his mom and you said he must buy for you before mum. For marriage wey just enter six months.
“[You said] that marriage was a hustle and there was no love. And now the man is broke? They didn’t pay your dowry yet, and you flaunted a diamond ring and took a push gift worth 24 million while the dowry was 1.2 million….”
Recall, on December 13, Tonto Dikeh’ claimed via her verified Instagram page that she had fed her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill and his mother. She also claimed that everyone who had laughed at her when she made the claim is now experiencing the same fate. Churchill was thereafter referred to as a “little man” by her.
In response, Tonto Dikeh reaffirmed her positions on what she had said earlier, stating that she would not be pressured into reviving a brand that had previously only existed due to her position of authority and influence. She also added that it is difficult to be a devoutly religious woman who is successful and a politician.
She wrote, “IT IS POLITICS O’CLOCK IT NOT EASY BEING A HARDWORKING SUCCESSFUL SINGLE MUM. AND THEN COMBINING IT WITH POLITICS IS A WHOLE LOT OF WORK. SO I’M CHOOSING TO STAY FOCUSED.. WITH THAT BEEN SAID; I WOULD NOT BE PUSHED INTO REVIVING A BRAND THAT ONLY EXIST BECAUSE OF MY POWER/INFLUENCE.. LET THE CULPRITS DENY THEN I’LL BE READY… I SAID WHAT I SAID.”
