Skit maker Soso the Pure Water Seller, a well-known comedian whose real name is Sophia Chisom, has disclosed how she turned down a job opportunity in Ministry of Petroleum to do comedy.
Soso revealed that she graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a degree in political science and public administration in a BBC Pidgin interview.
She claimed to have worked as a corps member for the Ministry of Petroleum and had a good chance of being kept, but she turned it down because she had never been interested in a 9 to 5 job.
Soso claimed that her father believed it was a waste of money and resources to send her to school since she preferred to make skits instead.
She affirmed that before getting her manager’s notion to start making comedic content, she actually began by publishing a number of images online.
Soso explained that the top she wears in her comedy skit is a piece of clothing she chose from her collection, while the skirt is her mother’s own.
Skit maker Soso revealed that their last child had purchased the black bowl for her after receiving payment from her.
