1. Peruzzi:
The Amaka crooner, Peruzzi of DMW, graduated as a medical doctor from Odessa State Medical University in Nigeria.
He revealed the reason he left the medical field in an interview that his mother forced him to read medicine, “My mother encouraged me to attend the medical school. I had to abandon the lab coat because it was not providing what I desired”, he said.
2. Dr. Sid:
The doctor in his name is not just for fancy as most of us think. Before diving into the music talent, the Over the moon crooner, graduated and obtained his degree in dental surgery from the University of Ibadan and he practiced in a private hospital for some years.
3. Beautiful Nubia:
In 1992, Segun Akinolu, known as Beautiful Nubia, graduated with a doctorate of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Ibadan. He practiced as a veterinary doctor for 8years before joining the entertainment industry.
4. Kiki Omeili:
Popularly known for her role as Lovette in Nollywood TV show, Lekki wives, Kiki Omeili used to be a doctor. She studied medicine at Unilag.
5. Kate Henshaw;
The last but not the least is our very famous Kate Henshaw, who is known for her appearance in Nollywood blockbuster movies such as chief daddy, and 4th generation; majored in medical laboratory at the school of med lab science, Lagos state University teaching hospital.
